UpLog is the Chrome companion for Upbooks time tracking. It uses the same account and API as the UpLog web app, with a floating launcher and a focused side panel for daily work.
Open UpLog from the bottom-right of any normal website.
Sign in, choose projects and tasks, track time, and manage attachments.
Start, pause, resume, and stop the timer without switching tabs.
Capture automatic or manual screenshots and annotate them before upload.
Record a screen, tab, or window, then trim and mark up the result.
Create Upbooks tasks with descriptions, assignees, screenshots, and videos.
Install
Install from the Chrome Web Store—no Developer mode and no “Load unpacked.”
Open the UpLog listing on the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add to Chrome and confirm the requested permissions.
Use Chrome’s puzzle-piece menu to keep the toolbar icon visible.
Refresh open http or https pages so UpLog can add the floating button.
Click the floating UpLog logo or the toolbar icon to get started.

How to use UpLog
Open UpLog

Create a task
Choose or create a project, enter a task summary and description, assign it, then attach images, annotated screenshots, or screen recordings. Each draft supports up to eight attachments.
Record evidence
Record a tab, window, or full screen with optional camera and microphone. Pause or stop from the on-page controls, then trim and add pen, highlight, box, arrow, or text overlays.
Track time
Enable Tracking in Settings, select a project and optional task, then start. UpLog tracks elapsed time and can capture screenshots on start and periodically throughout the session.
